The 6th-grade began their expanded study of India with the visiting artist Sunanda Sahay learning about folk painting from northern India. In January, their Artist in Residence program will continue with dancer Jasmine Shah and martial arts grandmaster Michael Couhie. The culminating performance by the students and artists will be held on Friday, January 24, at 7 PM in the gym. This event is free and open to the public.
Persons interested in filing for school district offices may file for these positions starting January 22, 2020. The deadline for filing is 5:00 p.m. on January 31, 2020.
