HCS 5th grade students help with potato harvest

Mrs. Gage's 5th grade class from the Henniker Community School recently walked  to the Henniker Lions Community Garden on Old Concord Road to dig up and harvest potatoes. The Henniker Lions Community Garden provides fresh produce to area food pantries. In past years, HCS students have assisted with planting.  This year they were invited  to help with the harvest. This is a community service-based project for the students.
